Certifications & training
Over 75% of high-end operators in Seminyak and Pererenan require BNSP-certified staff in key roles.
BNSP hospitality management: guest relations, maintenance oversight, finance and crisis intervention over 180 hours.
BNSP certification in culinary arts and food safety, typically 150 hours of practical and theoretical training.
Certified for cleanliness and presentation across 2–5 bedroom villas, working to 50-point cleaning checklists.
At least one staff member per shift holds a basic lifeguard certificate: 40 hours of water rescue and CPR.
First aid and CPR certification, with monthly fire drills targeting a response within 3–5 minutes.
Trained guards patrol from 6 PM to 6 AM, alongside perimeter fencing and CCTV in common areas.

Safety & preparedness
Optional pool fences can often be installed within 24 hours of request, with clear depth markers. Fire extinguishers are typically one per 100 square metres, with smoke detectors in all living and sleeping areas.
Villa managers are on call 24/7. BIMC Hospital is within a 15-minute drive of most Canggu properties, and every guest gets a safety briefing in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Health & hygiene
Culinary teams follow HACCP-based food safety, with daily temperature logs, separate preparation zones and ingredients from certified farms or distributors within 50 kilometres.
Linens are laundered every two days, or daily on request. Drinking water is triple-filtered and lab-tested quarterly, and all staff have medical check-ups twice a year.
Local compliance
Over 15 distinct regulatory requirements apply, renewed annually or every five years.
